Heaven gifted Tina and Trent Sullivan with Adley Marie — a daughter to befriend their son, Aiden — on September 9, 2021. She’s been a wonderful, sweet little girl.
At Adley’s 3-month visit earlier this December, she was in the 3rd % for weight, 20th % for height, and 95th %= for head circumference. Flags went up.
And on the day of this writing, Tina and Trent brought their daughter to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola for an MRI of her brain, for which she required sedation. We all thought this procedure would give us answers. The MRI did reveal:
~ no mass that they could see, but ~ inflammation in the top of her brain ~ enlargement of the fourth ventricle of the brain (which is in the bottom back of her noggin), and ~ lesions on the lining of her brain
Still, no definite answers, but more tests.
Tomorrow, December 23rd, sweet baby Adley Marie, will be sedated again to undergo an MRI of her spine as well as a spinal tap. The spinal tap is to rule out meningitis. Perhaps the MRI might show something wrong with her spine that can explain the inflammation and the lesions.

At this point, only God knows what ails His beloved little princess. Trent and Tina certainly face many decisions in front of them, and the rest that most of us can do is pray.
Understandably, all of us want the news on Adley quickly, especially if it’s good or even if it's bad. Even now, it has gotten difficult for Tina and Trent to update all the members of their loving community. So, CaringBridge comes to our rescue.

Please don’t get anxious or concerned if you can’t get a hold of family members, especially Tina and Trent. They would love to personally update all of us, but their focus is on Adley, and of course, her loving and excellent brother, Aiden.
