Aden Winkelman

Family and friends, we want to thank you so much for all of your prayers and support over the last few weeks. It is overwhelming the number of people we know and even those we don't know that have been praying for our family and especially for Aden. We were told yesterday afternoon that Aden's diagnosis has been confirmed as Chronic Intestinal Pseudo-obstruction. His condition is extremely rare and the treatment will require intestinal transplantation. There are only a handful of hospitals in the country that perform this procedure. We are in the beginning stages of finding the best center for Aden and our family. While the road ahead is long and terrifying, we will continue to have faith in God's plan. We are asking for continued prayers. Please pray for our sweet, beautiful boy and pray for Jeff and I as we navigate how to care for Aden and our family. Thank you again for all the incredible love and support. Although we have not had a chance to respond to everybody, every message we receive helps to keep us moving forward. Much love~ De Aun and Jeff
