The road may be long and winding with no end in sight, but there is always rest for weary travellers.
On December 23, 2019 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was a bit of a shock because I didn't feel sick. I felt fine except for that lump in my breast that wasn't going away. Luckily I caught it early before it spread anywhere else. Unluckily I have Triple Negative breast cancer, which can be hard to treat because it grows aggressively and likes to spread. I am fortunate to have decent health care and have already begun treatment. It's going to be a long road to recovery with chemotherapy, radiation and surgeries to complete over the coming months. If you are interested in following my journey I invite you to check in for weekly updates and/or to leave messages of support.
