CaringBridge Kicks-Off September with Giving Campaign

Eagan, Minn. (September 6, 2017) – Today, CaringBridge launches a two-week giving campaign beginning September 6 through September 21. CaringBridge asks supporters to join them with a financial gift, honoring the stories and connections that happen on CaringBridge every day.

The campaign features two generous matching gifts donated by an anonymous friend of CaringBridge. The matches double donations received on September 6 and 7 up to $15,000 and September 20 and 21 up to $10,000.

Hundreds of thousands of families depend on CaringBridge to connect them to their community for strength and support. Today, there are more than 675,000 websites on CaringBridge that are visited by millions of people around the world each year, and a new CaringBridge site is created every 6 minutes for someone in need.

“The patients and families who use CaringBridge understand the powerful impact that it can have,” said Liwanag Ojala, CaringBridge CEO. “As a nonprofit, CaringBridge relies on donations to give anyone facing a health journey a place they can feel seen and heard by the people who matter most during the most difficult and trying time in their lives.”

A donation to CaringBridge keeps these personal websites free and available for any family facing a health crisis. Nearly 90 percent of all funding comes from the people who have experienced the power of CaringBridge firsthand. To learn more or make a tax-deductible contribution, visit www.caringbridge.org/give.
