A New and Improved CaringBridge Experience
We've made it even easier to connect and communicate with your CaringBridge website. Thanks to your feedback, our new look and new features are easier to navigate, especially on mobile phones. We've made it easier to see the latest updates, while keeping all your data and the features you love. Here’s what's changed:
The site has a new, contemporary design that’s both beautiful and easier to use on any device. The top navigation appears on every page for faster access to key areas of CaringBridge.
Your top cover photo may look different. Pick your favorite to decorate your website – we’ve added more than 60 new cover photos.
Now you can further customize the ways you’d like to involve family and friends in your journey by personalizing your Ways to Help page. For example, you can include links to personal fundraising efforts or other resources here. This will help your visitors know exactly how to help you in the ways you need most.
The Guestbook was renamed to Thoughts & Well Wishes, but the sentiment stays the same: your community can leave you messages of encouragement. And don’t worry—your current messages are all in one spot. Scroll through Well Wish messages, Journal comments and Tribute donation messages without leaving your site home.
Your Photos section will now be called Gallery. Look for improvements to the Gallery in coming months.
The Journal is at the heart of what you do. We’ve included improvements in the display for you and your visitors for better readability, commenting or clicking the heart icon to love other people’s comments. We also added a more visible “Follow site” button for your visitors, so they can receive automatic emails alerting them to new updates on your site.
Want to change any of your settings? Simply use the toggle button at the top of your site to switch between your site and your site settings. Site Settings are where you change your cover photo, invite family and friends to follow your site or invite a co-author to help update your site. You can also access Site Activity Reports to see who’s visiting, following, sending Well Wishes or commenting on your site. These reports replace the Community box.
