CaringBridge Hires Elizabeth Olson as Chief Financial Officer

Eagan, Minn. (November 13, 2017) – CaringBridge, the Minnesota-based nonprofit organization created so people experiencing a health journey can remain connected to their family and friends, hires Elizabeth Olson as Chief Financial Officer. Olson will oversee all financial aspects of CaringBridge and further its mission to amplify the love, hope and compassion in the world.

Olson brings more than 25 years experience to CaringBridge, including rebuilding the finance and accounting function for Volunteers of America, a diversified $46 million social services agency; and managing all financial interests for Grassroots Solutions, Inc., a nationally-known engagement and advocacy consulting firm with an annual revenue of $7-$10 million. Her previous work experience also includes serving as a consultant at Slocum, where she worked with institutional clients to create investment policies and recommend asset allocation, as well as multiple financial positions at Northwest Airlines, including Director of Cash, and financial analyst at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York.

Olson also lends her financial and leadership skills as a volunteer for a number of local organizations. She serves on the Financial Leadership Committee at the Women’s Foundation of Minnesota, is the treasurer for the Wayzata Symphony Orchestra, and is a trustee for womenwinning.
