Leave a Legacy Gift
The Bruning Family, CaringBridge donors
Danae and Jon Bruning know the healing power of CaringBridge well.
“CaringBridge is a sacred space. It gives people so much hope,” Danae says. "Now that our kids are getting older, we decided it was time to update our will. It was our lawyer who asked us, ‘What would you like to do with your estate philanthropically?' For us, the answer was simple: We wanted to provide a lasting gift to CaringBridge.”
Leaving a gift to CaringBridge in your will is one of the simplest ways you can make a legacy gift. Examples of bequest language to include in your will are:
"I bequeath the sum of $_______________ to CaringBridge, a Minnesota nonprofit corporation located in Eagan, MN, or its successor in interest, to be used in such manner as the Board of Directors of said charity shall, in its sole discretion, determine.”
"I give, devise, and bequeath to CaringBridge, a Minnesota nonprofit corporation located in Eagan, MN, or its successor in interest, _______________ percent of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate to be used in such manner as the Board of Directors of said charity shall, in its sole discretion, determine.”
CaringBridge encourages donors to contact your estate attorney for professional assistance.
