Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensures the online, mailed and ACH donations are accurately processed and that the donation processing system is meeting the needs and performance standards of CaringBridge and donors.

  • Utilizes the donation processing tool to write queries and produce reports.

  • Ensures cleanliness of donor data via monthly National Change of Address and Address Standardization Enhancement updates, research of potential duplicate constituents and reduction of duplicate records.

  • Supports changes and upgrades of the donation processing system.

  • Executes deliverables for the mailed solicitation program, meeting delivery dates and goals, and monitors the program to meet CaringBridge goals.

  • Collaborates in the implementation of goals, policies and priorities relating to donation processing.

  • Collaborates with ResultsPlus users in other departments, providing expertise and advice for creating queries and reports.

  • Assists in the development of detailed written documentation of all donation-related procedures.

  • Supports the finance team with accounting and administrative duties.

  • Stays current on market, competition and trends including tactics, field concepts and practices, applying them to strategies when applicable.

  • Establishes and sustains interactive relationships with external vendors and contacts to result in favorable networks to support the current and future goals of the organization and to benchmark practices/results to maximize organizational effectiveness.

  • Keeps Manager/Supervisor informed of important developments, potential problems and related information necessary for effective management. Coordinates/communicates plans and activities with others as appropriate to ensure a coordinated work effort and team approach.

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in fund development or position of similar responsibilities.
  • 1-3 years of experience managing a donation processing system.
  • Self-directed worker who can adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong self-starter with a record of success.
  • Strong collaboration and teambuilding skills.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to cope with the rapid pace and constant change associated with the industry.
  • Ability to successfully manage numerous projects simultaneously.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft applications and database concepts.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing with personnel and outside contacts.
