THE SERENITY PRAYER
God, grant me the Serenity
To accept the things I cannot change...
Courage to change the things I can,
And Wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time,
Enjoying one moment at a time,
Accepting hardship as the pathway to peace.
Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is,
Not as I would have it.
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His will.
That I may be reasonably happy in this life,
And supremely happy with Him forever in the next.

Hoping all had a blessed Easter. I know I haven't updated for a while so I just wanted to let everyone know that we continue to press forward onto our goal which is Heaven. That HOPE keeps us going and that HOPE is given to each of us through Christ Jesus and God our Father.
Ain't GOD Good!!!!
You know our minds sometimes get burdened down with things and I asked someone one time how do I get my mind to stop processing some of the thoughts that trouble me. I was told by a dear brother in the Lord years ago that the Bible holds all answers to the questions we have. Some answers haven't been revealed unto us yet but as we need and as God's will is, he will reveal unto us the answers. So here is the answer I got and the scripture that was revealed to help me with this.
Philippians 4:8,9
8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatosover things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
So then I start thinking on the true,honest,just, pure, lovely, of good report, virtue, and praise and I come to these scriptures which for me include all the above:
I Thessalonians 4:13-18
13 But I would not have you be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them which also sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
What A Day That Shall Be!!!!!!
Then the Lord give me peace of mind.
I want to thank all of you out there who have loved and prayed for our family. I ask that you please continue prayers for us.
