It was so great seeing you at the Make A Wish Brewer game. I am so glad to see Sarah so happy and healthy. I hope it all continues, I know you are afraid to believe you are safe, it seems if we keep worrying things will stay better. Read my update on Molly and you will see things are kind of rough for us. But she is still enjoying life and hopefully will be for a long time. Your payers are needed. Grandma Sue caringbridge.org WI/littlemissmolly

Hi Jackie and Don,

I have a friend who has a child with a web page on this site and I had to go in and see how your little girl is doing. Im so happy she is cancer free and looks so healthy and strong. That is sure a blessing. I have a grandaughter who is turning two in a couple weeks (Skye) and Sommer and her husband James live down near St. Lukes so we get to see them pretty often.

All is well with us. Would love to see you sometime. I think of you often.

Hi, I met you years ago at the Madison Family picnic. I have not checked your sight for a while when things were going well and you did not update as often. Then today I read your update and I am so happy for all of you. I can only imagine how relieved you must be and how wonderful it is to live an almost normal life again. We are not battling cancer anymore with Molly, she has been cancer free for 5 years, but now are having portal vein hypertension issues and she needs another transplant. So we are near the top of the list and very nervous every time the phone rings. She has had 2 serious bleeds and had to be med-aired to Madison Childrens. Thank God they got them stopped. You may want to read our update at her caringbridge sight WI littlemissmolly. We could use your prayers and any other prayer warriors you could drum up. Again I am so glad Sarah is good, I know it has been a long battle for all of you. She sure has turned into a pretty young lady, both your girs are. Molly's grandma Sue

Hunter Family,
I have been relying on Kory to pass news on how Sarah is doing. I didn't want to bother you with phone calls but please remember anytime you need anything, please call.
I am glad to hear Sarah is doing well and I was glad to hear she was back at school. Our family will continue to pray for continued healing.

Sarah- I may want a try in that wheelchair. It sounds like you have gone for some wild rides!

Also I will be sending my money for the mile run fund! That will be a sight to see!

Continued prayers,

Glad to hear that Sarah is doing better and in good spirits. You are probably better off staying put for the day as it is NASTY outside. Even though there is no place like home, you just don't want to have to travel in this weather if you don't have to. Definitely, "white-knuckle" driving. Just want you all to know that you have been in my thoughts. Happy to know that all is going well.

Hello-
We will certainly keep praying that the side ache is nothing to worry about. My daughter Jenna (now 11) used to have terrible side aches, around age 8-10, where she would be crying because it hurt so much and then after a while it would just disappear. Hopefully yours is nothing to worry about also. We will check in again to see how the CT scan went.

Love, Kerri www.caringbridge.org/visit/jacktodd

Ten years old? Wooooohooooooo!! Hope your day was fantabulous! I hear some people celebrate their birthday WEEK...are you one of those?!

So glad to hear that all is well and that you are loving life and school. We always hope to run into familiar faces at the clinic...but then again, how nice that no one is hanging out there TOO much!

Have a great halloween!

Please tell Mom, Dad, and Catie that Marvin and I said hello. We hope some day to come see you all. Keeping you in our daily thoughts and prayers and close to our hearts. Sending so much love!!

Hi Sarah and all of the Hunters~

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! 10 is an awesome age to be! I hope you have a wonderful day today and make some great memories. Are you doing anything special to celebrate? Jack's birthday is on Nov. 8th and he is having a dinosaur party. The dinosaur pinata will be a good way to use up a bunch of Halloween candy!! I'm glad that you are all doing well, we think of you often and pray for you too.

Sarah and Catie, cute as can be, with beautiful smiles - as anyone can see! With Catie at her side, Sarah kicked cancer in the pants, and now the two girls do the victory dance! It took the miracles of science and God's healing hand, it took courage, determination and hope from throughout the land! But in the end...in the final hour...let's not forget...it takes love and GIRL-POWER!

O.K....O.K, so I'm not the world's greatest poet! I just wanted you all to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers, always!

Hi Hunters-

I've been thinking about you all and have checked your page almost daily, glad to read that everything is going well. Hope you are feeling back to normal Sara! Have fun at Relay. We decided to do an Alex's Lemonade Stand this summer instead, since we found out that the American Cancer Society only gives 2-3% of funds raised to children's cancer research, and 0% to Neuroblastoma! I find that very sad!!! Hope you have a good time there! Happy 4th of July tomorrow!

I am glad you have the web site for your venting! Everything NB families go through is tough, including what you describe. I check on Sarah regularly (everyday, actually) and am with you throughout your journey. As an NB parent, I can attest to similar feelings. I try to remind myself that I should try not to put too much pressure on my daughter by overdoing my concern for the little niggling pains and complaints.

I hope you all continue to feel great and enjoy each other.

My name is Paul Black. My son Nicholas was diagnosed with Stage III Neuroblastoma in November 03. He was 2 1/2 at the time. We have been NED since May 04. We had scans today and the CT came back fine, but the MIBG revealed a possible spot near his bladder. Needless to say we are extremely worried, leaving much room for speculation until we talk with the oncologist.

So, I went to the net to look for other stage III relapsed children to see what happens, and came to your page. Needless to say, you have made me feel much better. Although I fear my son having to go through the process all over again, your faith and your story have given me confidence again that in looking at the big picture, my son will be OK.

May God bless you and your family for continued NED for the next 100 years!
