The medals on our chests Are port-a-caths for meds Helmets won't stay on 'cause no hair is on our heads. Our weapons of destruction We take every day We fight the battle within us While we struggle on to play. We fight with honor and courage No marine could do as well We are only little children Living in this hell. So bring on the medals The Purple Hearts of Wars The Gold Cross, The Silver Star To place upon our scars. For We are the Children of Cancer No one has fought so hard But every day we struggle on Our life is our reward. Author: Cheryl Jagannathan

Ryan is offically OFF TREATMENT!!
I've been updating about Ryan on his sister's web page since it was just easier that way. I'm going to contiue to update on Ashley's site, every now and then I will probably post here too. I really need to put an updated picture of Ryan on his web page, though he really doesn't look all that different.
He goes for his surgery to get his port out on Monday. We have to be there ar 5:30 am. i taked to clinic today to make sure that his was going to be out-patient on the 10th floor (pediatric floor) instead of the regular out-patient floor, just because we know all the nurses there so well and they are so good to us. So that is the plan to have him on the 10th, unless they are full of coarse.
I will be sure to bring my camera this time, I forgot to bring it to clinic the other day, I was so upset, I wanted a picture of Ryan with Dr. B I can still get this of coarse, but really wanted it that day, of well.
Well Ryan wants to get back outside, why I don't know its 90 something out there, humid and miserable, but he wants to get out there so I guess I'm going!
Thanks for checking on my little man!
Robin
