Justin's Story
Welcome to Justin's webpage. On September 27, 2003 Justin was doing what he loves best, playing football. Two and a half minutes before the half, UW-Eau Claire had just scored their second touchdown. Justin was charging down the field on the kick off and made helmet contact with another player. Unfortunately, Justin was critically injured on this play. He was transported to River Falls Hospital by ambulance and then air lifted to St. Paul Regions Hospital. Justin was diagnosed with a blood clot on his brain. He immediately underwent surgery to remove the clot and stop the bleeding.
In response to many inquires into how one can donate to Justin's Recovery Fund, the following address is being provided. Justin Greenwood Recovery Fund Royal Credit Union P.O. Box 970 Eau Claire, WI 54702

Wednesday, January 7, 2009 10:45 AM CST Hellow everyone, Just giving a report on my Christmas and New Years. First of all, I went home to have Christmas with my Dad's side of the family. In years prior we had Christmas at my Aunt Mary and Uncle Sam's beautiful log home. This year was different. Alot of my Cousins are having kids now. So we wanted to have our family Christmas somewhere where there wasn't alot of steps. My DaD just finised his brand new house. So we decided to have the family Christmas over there. It went amazingly well. We had lots of great food. He also put in a bar and a really nice reck room downstairs. My DaD and his girlfriend Mary cooked a great meal. Other people brought side dishes. I almost ate myself into a coma. It was awesome. I was so proud of my DaD and Mary for doing such a spectacular job. For New Years I went to my good friends Karen and Richard Noel's house. They are very special people. Karen got poleo at a very young age. She has been through some very hard times in her life. Me and her are alot alike. We never die, never give up. Her husband Richard is a very good teacher at Mlps south. They are a very strong team. I just want to wish all of you a prosperous 2009. Always remember tough times don't last tough people do. When the going get tough the tough get going. Peace out Justo
