Born to life 4-15-97
Heavenly birthday 12-1-02

WELCOME HOME
For those I love and those who love me.
When I am gone, release me, let me go. I have so many things to see and do. You mustn't tie yourself to me with tears. Be happy that we had so many years.
I gave you my love, you can only guess how much you gave me in happiness.
I thank you for the love you each have shown, but know it's time to travel alone.
So grieve a while for me, if grieve you must, then let your grief be comforted by trust. It's only for a while that we must part, so bless the memories that lie within your heart.
I won't be far away, for life goes on, but if you need me, call and I will come... though you can't see or touch me, I will be near. And if you listen with your heart, you'll hear all of my love around you, soft and clear...and then... when you must come this way alone...I'll greet you with a smile and say...
"Welcome Home."
We want to thank each of you for your continued love, support and prayers. Please also remember in your prayers the families of those who have lost their battle with Neuroblastoma, along with those who courageously continue to fight. May God bless them.

Journal

I am writing this journal entry on Jacob's 10th birthday.
It is so hard to believe that he would be celebrating 10
years today. In our minds and hearts he will remain forever
5 years old. We are celebrating as we usually do....Chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, chocolate
Storheim's custard and a small fireworks display in our
yard. All of Jake's favorites.
Jake is never far from our thoughts, but especially today,
we reflect on the many happy times we shared together. There will never be another soul on this earth like him.
His legacy of love, respect and caring for others lives on
in us everyday. We can only hope to live up to the example
he set during his short time here.
We also celebrated Josie's 2nd birthday on March 31st.
Time certainly goes quickly. She had a wonderful time
at her birthday party...cake, presents, balloons and lots
of friends and family. Please check the new photos.

Love to all.
Natalie
