Helen Peterson

Hello, thanks for caring enough to check on Mom. Hopefully this will help us keep in touch. The picture above was taken Sunday, February 29, mom is holding Jacob Allen who was born Friday, Feb. 27 and is Mike & Julie's son.

Helen Mary Peterson, Antigo, died Saturday, April 24, 2004 at Langlade Memorial Hospital, under the care of her family and LeRoyer Hospice. She was 77 years old. She was born April 30, 1926, in Watertown, a daughter of the late Fred and Mary (Gahlman) Haase.
On Feb. 14, 1953, she married Allen Peterson at the St. Hyacinth Catholic Church rectory. He survives.
A graduate of North Fond du Lac High School and the Fond du Lac Business College, Mrs. Peterson was employed for 40 years at Braun, Preboski & Brettigen in Antigo.
A sports enthusiast, she enjoyed golf,following Antigo athletics, the University of Wisconsin and UW-Green Bay basketball teams and the Green Bay Packers, as well as reading and playing bridge.
Mrs. Peterson was a member of St. John Catholic Church, Antigo, and the Bass Lake Country Club.
A volunteer for Meals-on-Wheels, she also prepared tax returns for seniors.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include four sons, Terry (Nancy) Peterson, Green Bay, Tom (Lou Ann Campbell) Peterson, Grafton, Steve (Cathy) Peterson, Sheboygan, and Mike (Julie) Peterson, Polar, five grandchildren, Kristin, Kelsey, Emma, Aaron and Jacob, and a sister, Rita Smith, Waupun.
