Happy 12th Birthday Colin (March 30)





11/17/1997: (19 months old)Colin was diagnosed with ALL (Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia). He went through 130 weeks of chemotherapy(POG 9201).
5/9/2000: (4 years old) Colin's last day of chemo.
9/9/2002: (6 1/2 years old) Colin relapsed. He went through 2 more years of chemotherapy, much tougher than the first time around. Protocol POG 9310
10/2004 (8 1/2 years old) Colin is now off treatment!! No more chemo!!

It almost slipped my mind -- but tonight I was washing dishes and it dawned on me that today is the 10th anniversary of when Colin was diagnosed with leukemia. WOW!

Colin is in 6th grade now and soon he will be taller than me! All checkups in 2007 have come back great. He has now moved to every 4 month check-ups! Amazing.

We feel blessed.
