Matt Warren's Very Own Web Page

Welcome to Matt's Web Page.
Matt was diagnosed with leukemia on
March 17, 2004.
He is the 8 year old son of
Ty and Lindsay Warren
Life Verse: Jeremiah 29:11

The following words are from the song "He's My Son" by Mark Shultz.

I'm down on my knees again. I'm hoping this prayer will turn out right.
See, there is a boy that needs Your help.
I've done all that I can do myself
His mother is tired,
I'm sure You can understand.
Each night as he sleeps
She goes in to hold his hand,
And she tries
Not to cry
As the tears fill her eyes.

Can You hear me?
Am I getting through tonight?
Can You see him?
Can You make him feel all right?
If You can hear me
Let me take his place some how.
See, he's not just anyone, he's my son.

Sometimes late at night I watch him sleep,
I dream of the boy he'd like to be.
I try to be strong and see him through,
But God, who he needs right now is You.
Let him grow old,
Live life without this fear.
What would I be
Living without him here?
He's so tired,
And he's scared
Let him know that You're there.

Can You hear me?
Am I getting through tonight?
Can You see him?
Can You make him feel all right?
If You can hear me
Let me take his place some how.
See, he's not just anyone, he's my son.

Can You hear me?
Am I getting through tonight?
Can You see him?
Can You make him feel all right?
If You can hear me
Let me take his place somehow.
See, he's not just anyone.

Can You hear me?
Can You see him?
Please don't leave him,
He's my son.

We are enjoying a snowy Memphis from the Jude. It is gorgeous, but would be alot better to be out in it. Matt was disappointed that he has to be in the hospital when there is no school and snow on the ground.

He started running fever Wednesday night so they admitted him and started the antibiotic immediately to cover his body in case the strep was back. I think he just has the winter bug so maybe we will get out soon.

Our little friend that I had mentioned last year, Kate Hrischuk, earned her angel wings Saturday morning. She was an angel and her family is so precious. Her mom, Colleen and I spent time together here and I am so sad over their loss. I wish I could be there with Colleen and Brian but do visit there site. It is the newer one where you go to /visit/katehrischuk. Kate was diagnosed last December with a brain tumor in the pond of her neck. She was 6 years old and a twin to brother Eric.

School is great. I love being back in the classroom and I love my class. They are a great group of kids.

Molly is in Florida with the Sceince Club swimming with the manatees. We are going to get lots of pictures of the snow for her.It is hard to imagine her swimming while we are enjoying snow.

Thanks for checking on us, maybe we will get out soon and get to go sledding with John Caleb.

God Bless You,
Lindsay
