Welcome to our Child's Web Page. It has been provided to keep people updated about our Child.Jordan was born July 4th 1997 and by all means is a FIRECRACKER!!
Jordan was diagnosed with Multiple Epiphyseal Dysplasia or painful malformation of the long bones in the skeleton. He was originally diagnosed in the summer of 2001 and had his 4th Bilateral Hip Surgery in the fall of 2006.
This disease has stunted his growth making him only 49 inches tall at age 11. I try not to let this stop him from doing anything. He has a wonderful spirit and loves life. He is by all means your typical "Boy" he loves cartoons, Dinosaurs, and has really gotten into Transformers. He makes friends easily and everyone just loves him.
A few of Jordan's favorite things are Playstation 2 and his NintendoDS which one of his several adopted Uncles'gave to him.He is also a HUGE fan of Pro-skateboarder Tony Hawk and met him on August 19th,2008.
Jordan was granted his wish through the Make-a-Wish Foundation and went to Disney World April 3rd 2005 for one fantastic week. Please write him at P.O Box 2932 Bremerton,WA 98310.....

Journal
Sunday, March 29, 2009 5:51 AM CDT Good Morning and Happy Spring to All:)Yeah right not here in the NW...... I think Mother Nature has gotten lost on her way to change the weather here. Anyways, this is an update on Jordan and how things are progressing with him. He still remains in his wheelchair and will be in it until at least the 21st of April when we go back to meet with his orthopedic surgeon. He has been holding his own, but really hates being in the chair. I have tried to explain to him in detail what being in the chair has done for helping is bones. I am not sure whether or not he will be having surgery but there has not been any real positive changes in his bones at all. So I will keep everyone updated as to what if anything changes. Thanks! Mardi and Jordan Harris
