Wow, crazy summer. Where do I start? Upward Bound started
on June 1st and ended this past Wednesday and tomorrow I
will leave to go back up for the end trip, which will be in the
Denver area this year. This summer we got to choose the
classes we wanted to take, I decided to take composition,
literature, computers, science, geometry/algebra II, and PE. Im
not completely sure but I think I scored an A in all of them exept
science. For my 4:00 activity I chose golf for the first two weeks
and horseback for the second two. ..Golf? Not my thing lol. This
will be the plan for our end trip:
Sunday, July 5th:
Leave by 7PM to return to CSC
Monday, July 6th:
Depart CSC
-Breakfast at Chadron McDonalds
University of Wyoming Campus Tour/Admissions Talk at 2:00PM
-Lunch in Laramie, Wyoming.
Depart for Estes Park, Colorado and stay overnight at The
Stanley Hotel (Hotel of The Shining!!!)
-Dinner in Estes Park, Colorado
Tuesday, July 7th:
-Breakfast in Estes Park, Colorado
Rocky Mountain National Park Guided Hike/Tour at 9:00AM
-Lunch in Estes Park, Colorado
Sightsee Downtown Estes Park
Stanley Hotel Ghost Tour at 2:30 & 3:30PM
Depart for Denver, Colorado and stay at the Residence Inn,
Downtown Denver
-Dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe in Denver, Colorado (!!!!!)
Wednesday, July 8th:
-Breakfast at Residence Inn
Denver Museum of Nature & Science
*Imax and Planetarium
-Lunch at the Cheesecake Factory in Denver (!!!!!!)
Elitches (Six Flags)(!!!!!)
-Dinner at Elitches
Thursday, July 9th:
-Breakfast at Residence Inn
Downtown Denver Aquarium at 10:00AM
*Snorkel/Swin with the Fish(!!!)
-Lunch at Downtown Denver Aquarium
Colorado Rockies vs. Atlanta Braves
*Game starts at 6:40PM
-Dinner at Rockies game
Friday, July 10th:
-Breakfast at Residence Inn
Depart for home
-Lunch in Scottsbluff, Nebraska
Drop off in following order- AHS, GRHS, CHS
As you can see it will be a VERY funfilled week. We will also be
seated in the group section at the Rockies game, where the big
screen TV is. I'm going to be on TV!! Woot! Ok thats all I have
