Hello everyone! I have changed the background to the pink ribbon to honor my mom and my dear friend ReNee who are battling breast cancer.

The boys had a wonderful Christmas and New Years. Santa was very good to the boys as was a local church that gave gifts to the boys. You would not have known anything was wrong here by their smiling faces.

My mom finally got her test results back after the new year. Her lymph nodes are clear which is what we were hoping for. Her masectomy is not healing well and the skin is dying. She goes back on Thursday to have it looked at. She may have to have more surgery done. My mom went to the oncologist on Monday. They are having her take a pill for 5 years. She has to go back after 30 days and get some testing done to make sure the pill is not damaging her organs. The doctor also felt there was too much cancer in our family. My mom had genetic testing done. The results will be back in 20 more days. Please pray that the results show nothing genetic and it could change a lot in her treatment as well as for the rest of the family.

Zackary went to the clinic today for counts which came back good. We are now up to 75% chemo which is great news. Beth and I talked about my mom's cancer and how it can be genetically linked to Zackary having Leukemia. We are going to wait for further testing until my mom's results come back.

Zackary started homebound again today. He was very nervous about his new teacher. When we were walking in Mrs Allen was walking out. She walked us to his new room. She stayed for a few minutes and I left. Zackary really enjoyed his time with Ms Wilson. I thought Zackary was not behaving and it turns out they had headphones on and were talking at the listening center *giggle*

I want to ask everyone to pray for a dear friend of mine ReNee. She has been battling breast cancer. On Saturday her husband posted on her caring bridge page that it has spread to her bone marrow. She is in the hospital and they are trying to get her stable. Please pray that she will be cured. Please keep her husband and children in your prayers as well. This news is just devastating to everyone. I love you ReNee and I am praying for you!! I am including her caring bridge page for my prayer warriors out there

We are so blessed to have so many people who care about us out there. Thank you to everyone who is praying for our family. We feel your prayers each and every day! We love you! God Bless and good night!
