The holidays were going to be bad enough this year, for obvious reasons, without the Christmas music starting right after Halloween. What's up with that? It isn't helping that we still continue to get medical bills for Zack. They turn out not to be actually owed by us, but I have to go through calling the insurance company and either Phoenix Children's or University Medical Center's billing departments to sort it out. This is a waste of time and emotionally draining for me. I wish they would just get it right the first time. I'm walking almost everyday with my friend, Casey, and yesterday, we had a little surprise. I was followed home by a litlle orange kitten. It was extremely friendly and well dispositioned, but no one has reported a lost kitten or responded to my reports of a found kitten. I couldn't bring it inside our house due to Siris and Lilli (our 9 year old cats) and I didn't want anyone getting hurt. The last thing I want to do is take it to the pound, but we can't keep it. Right now, Magnet (that's what we named him) is on a trial run at a neighbor's house down the street. She has two dogs, but would love to take Magnet. I hope it works out....for all of them.
