My Story

Zak was born with total intestinal Hirschsprungs disease. He only has 10cm of working small intestine. He is listed for a small intestine transplant. At this time he is doing very well. It has been a rocky road, but he is our miracle. ZAK IS CURRENTLY INACTIVE ON THE TRANSPLANT LIST AS OF JULY 07. Jan. 2009 started Omegaven.

WE'RE BACK

We got back last night, we had so much fun in San Diego!!!  Our little beach house was perfect. We had friends and family come visit us, we had BBQ's and we played on the beach everyday. It was GREAT!!!  Zak really liked the ocean.  He didn't go in too far but he sure had fun running from the waves!!!

The plane rides went well and we are looking foward to Hawaii in September. And I think I'm ready to book another trip to the beach house in Cali. LOL. Zak stayed healthy and out of the hospital. He ate lots of clam chowder and steak while we were there.  His misses his Nana and the beach house already. ( we all do!!)
