Love you,
Aimee,
Again I cant say it enough...you are an amazing young woman showing so much strength but I attribute that to strong FAITH and FAMILY knowing GOD IS ALWAYS IN CONTROL!
You both have had such a hard road but character has been displayed thru all the ups/downs and now the Best Gift/Reward :your sweet baby daughter who will also learn what a great family she is born to. Stay healthy and happy and God will continue to carry you all thru these days.

Yuriy,
Hey man, jut thinking about how we used to skate together like every week. You would pick me up in your crappy green convertible and we would go drive all over.  Tripple R, Grayslake skatepark, vernon hills... i don't even remember them all.  Glad to hear your making more and more progress. I talked to andy every now and then on facebook, I miss you guys.  I live in Atlanta GA now, going to grad school for graphic design.  I'm pretty sure at my parents house I have footage of you, me, andy, monty, pancake face (remember Bode, I have no idea what happened to that fucker) skating back in highschool.  If i can dig it up at some point maybe I can get you a copy.
Keep up the fight man, thinking about you!

I saw your website through Juliana Ramos website. I am in awe at your strength, Yuriy and Aimee, and how far Yuriy has come. I am from Holland and one of the Queen's sons, Prince Friso, has has anoxic brain damage and is in coma at the moment. They don't know if he will ever wake up.The whole country is in shock. I hope he will wake up and make the same progress as Yuriy, he is such a success story!

I listened to your story on Snap Judgement podcast.  It was very inspiring and beautiful.  The truest tale I found in your story is making sacrifices and good choices for the ones you love.  Many things can distract us and beckon us on, but it is being available and present despite that for someone who needs you that brings the most joy in life.   Thank you for sharing and reiterating that truth.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you BOTH. I really enjoyed your update....it really summed up the whole year for everyone to read. You are such an accomplished writer, Aimee!

One on the BEST changes in your life now is Brando, I so enjoyed meeting & playing with him. He's GREAT!

Yes, we all have many positives....and we have to think of those when our negative thoughts visit us. It seems you are already doing that.

May this upcoming NEW YEAR bring many new positives & wonderful adventures to you & Yuriy.

Love, Danealle

Heard your story via Snap Judgement on NPR.  My husband and I are newbies to the military, my husband is currently on his first deployment, so we are learning the crazy sacrifices made by our military and their loved ones.  Thank you so much Yuriy for serving our country!  Your accomplishments in conquering your medical setbacks are amazing, but you were a hero long before your hospital accident.  I can't express how appreciative I am of our soldiers, sailors, and airmen...all I can say is thank you a million times.  Aimee, thank you for being the helpmeet to her man that God would want you to be.  You truly are a Proverbs Ruby woman.

Hi Yuriy and Aimee,
I really enjoyed viewing and reading everything on your site...especially the pictures.  In case you don't remember my name, I graduated with you at CCI with Denise.  Not crazy about that name so I'm calling her Diva.  I think it suits her.  She is adjusting very well also.  I love her to death! If you are on Facebook you will find pictures and video of Diva and I at this address: facebook.com/TXBlonde.Donna
You are in my prayers,
