Hi everyone. Let me start off by saying that things are going well at our house. I can't believe that we are coming up on two years since we said goodbye to Wylan. With our second year coming up we have lots and lots of changes that have happened at our house. On March 3rd we will go to court to make Shantell's adoption final. We can't wait. We will be finalizing Annie's adoption at the begining of May. We are all very excited.

Today is Jamison's birthday and he is 8. I am so proud of him. Being the only boy in our house he has done very well and been the best "little man" he could be with all these changes. I am so very proud of him and I tell him this on a daily basis.

Savanna is also doing very well. She really does keep the humor alive at our house. SHe has been really good with all the changes and actually has said that she wants to adopt a little boy some day.... I am amazed by her each and every day. She will do great things with her life. I am sure of it.

Ben and I have had a few things up our sleeve as well. About a month ago we were joking at work about Extreme Home Makeover. Ben and I have been looking at putting an additon onto our home to accomodate for all the family changes that have been going on. A few people I work with said we should apply for Extreme Home Makeover. I took it as a joke and went no further. Savanna and I talked about it and she being the little spokes person that she is wanted to make a vidoe and send in the application. So we started it. It has been laying on my counter for about a month. We started a video. She reminds me every day that we need to finish the video. I didn't put much more thought into it.

This brings me to today in the break room at work. In the news paper there was a tiney little article that Extreme Home Make over is looking for a family in the Duluth area. I don't know that I am in the immidiate Duluth area but we are an hour from Duluth. So I am going to email and apply. A few of the girls at work are also going to email our story and apply. So if "YOU" my caring bridge world feel compelled and would like to join my bandwagon and submit something on my family's behalf that would be awesome. I am not expecting anything out of this...and am doing it more for my kids then anything...but with everyones help maybe we will get looked at.....

The main reason we first began thinking about applying is to add space to our home to accomodate our growing family. We would like to keep up of foster care license after the adoptions but we need space to do that. We also have many faliing aspects of our home. Not to go into detail on this site...we have lots of upgrades to make.

Happy emailing..... send your email with what ever you would choose about our family to castingduluth@gmail.com

Thanks again...and Savanna will be too excited...

Jen
