Thinking about you all tonight.  Praying for your family as I know this Christmas will be and has been hard.  She must be looking down and smiling at you all.

I just wanted to stop by to let you all know that I think of your family often.  I know that the next few months will not be easy as you spend your first Thanksgiving and Christmas without Wendee.  I will be praying that God will comfort you and cover you with his love and peace.  I know I will not be the only one praying for this very thing.  So many people love and care about your family.

Please know that as you go through this holiday season that your church family will continue to pray for your family daily!

Hey guys...I was reminded today of Wendee, and I came back to re-read some of the comments and prayers for you all.

Wendee has been on my mind alot in these past weeks, and I just wanted to share again, what an impact she continues to have on me. Wendee impacted my life years ago, as my small group leader, and as she demonstrated what it meant to walk with the Lord and be a good wife and mom.

She is STILL impacting me in that way. Most days, I think of her, and am motivated to love my kids well, spend time with the Lord, and enjoy the moments in front of me. To remember what is most important today...time with the Lord, and being here for my family.

Thanks for sharing Wen with all of us...allowing her to serve as a small group leader all those years ago...I'm sure that was not easy or convenient alot of times. Thanks for sharing her life so openly as she went to be with Jesus...Again, it has left a permanent mark on me.

Cliff, Charlee, Dylon, Rickee and Randy,

Paul and I have been covering your family in our prayers ever since we learned about Wendee being in the hospital.  It really changed the way we spent our time this past few weeks.  We brought home our 3rd child from the hospital on July 15th and it's been a struggle to be filled with joy over the new life in our home while praying for you over the loss you have suffered.  We have been torn in our joy and sorrow.  Wendee was a woman I personally looked up to from the minute I first met her back at Mt. View HS.  Paul and I taught Rickee and Randy in our 3-5 yr olds class and we had no children yet but loved the girls spunkiness, and of course their hair. :)  The last thing I said to Wendee was...
'Thank you for being a Mother I can look up to. Thank you for believing in your kids and investing so much time and love into their desires and hopes.  I was never pushed by my mom to follow my dreams and I got into a lot of trouble as a teen. You give me hope that if I encourage my daughter she can be everything I hope her to be as well.  Thank you for your wonderful example."
A few months back I called her to get information about joining the Saddle Club.  She explained what I had to do and I felt a bit overwhelmed.  She then said 'If you want to join, we'll get it done.  Just let me know and I'll meet you there to help you through the process."  I  hardly knew her and yet she was so willing to help me and be kind to me even though I was taking up her time.   Thank you for sharing your wife and mother with us all.  She is having so much fun in Heaven and I'm sure would be here to help everyone through this loss of God would allow her to... We will not forget you all in our prayers.  Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help...I am a stay at home mom and could do any driving to activities if needed...I'm not the best cook, but we would love to bring you all a meal if and when it's needed...
    All our love and prayers,

Dear Cliff, Charlee, Dylan, Rickee, & Randee
Blessed are they that morn, for they shall be comforted. (Matthew 5:4)Grief is the price we pay for love. To love deeply is to grieve our losses deeply. We are so sorry for your loss, our hearts go out to you & to Gene & Marlene. Your grief will escape with time.Your willingness to embrace the pain rather than escape it, guarantees that. It's not that you'll forget, it's that you'll remember it differently. Your tomorrows are in the hands of God. He will be there for each one of you. Times & seasons change, but not God's comfort. He's promised never to leave you. He'll be with you wherever you go.
    With deepest sympathy,
Robert & Terri Tibbs & family  (Kris Thompson's sister)

    Uncle Cliff and Family,
I just wanted to say that my heart goes out to you and your family during this difficult time and our love and prayers are with you. I thought Wendee's service yesterday was amazing. I'm sure it had a profound affect on everyone there, it certainly did on me. What a wonderful way to celebrate a wonderful lady's life. We are so proud to call you family and you are in our thoughts and prayers.

    Dear Weygandt and Thompson Family,

Wayne and I were sad to hear of the news of Wendee's passing this last week.  I'm thankful that we were all able to be together at the Thompson family reunion recently and had a chance to visit with one another.  While I did not know Wendee well, I do know the special family that she was apart of and the love you all have for each other.  My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time.  May god be with you all.

    Much love,

Cliff and Family I was at the service today for Wendee and it brought back memories for me of the one I just went through for my dearest wife Melissa because she left me too early as well but I know as you know that she is in a much better place and we will see them again someday. It was an amazing turnout and that just shows what an impact Wendee and you guys had on the community and you are great people. Again, I can definitely relate to you guys so if there is ever anything you need let me know as I will be there at he drop of a hat. LOve and God Bless Jason Pomajevich

to cliff and family  as Iwalked in to the church today and looked around at all of the people that were there to help celbrate Wendee life and I then relized that all the people that were there  had been touched in some way by Wendee even me eventho Idid not realize this at the time as as the pastor said why do the good ones have to go so soon Ithink God had a plan for Wendee and eventho we did not know each other at her celebration I think that Wendee was looking down on all of us today and doing what God had planned for her to do I think if there were more people in this world like Wendee IT WOULD BE A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE

    Cliff and family,
I loved the service today and I think Wendee would have loved it too.  I think she would have been amazed at the outpouring of love towards her and her family and I think she would have been so proud of each of you.  She would have loved that her relationship with the Lord was known by everyone to be the foremost thing in her life and the fact that there was hardly a picture without one of you in it attests to the love and dedication she had for each of you.
As I have read Proverbs 31 over and over this week these verses capture Wendee so much for me
25  She is clothed with strength and dignity,
and she laughs without fear of the future.
26  When she speaks, her words are wise,
and she gives instructions with kindness.

I know in my own life there were probably times Wendee wanted to let me have it with both barrels with my own lack of faith but she never did.  She approached things wisely, probing, asking questions, then laying out truth.  I remember us having a discussion about our futures and she truly never feared tragedy, she never feared death, she would always say whatever the conversation that she trusted God completely and she demonstrated that over and over in her life.  She truly laughed without fear of the future.

    The last verse says
Reward her for all she has done
Let her deeds publicly declare her praise.

No doubt, her Heavenly Father is rewarding her for all her faithfullness and I am so happy she was remembered so fondly by so many today.  Thanks Wen for loving and living for the Lord so we could all see Him in you.  She loved much and was deeply loved

Cliff and kids, know you are never far from our thoughts, we love ya'll, praying always for His comfort, His peace, His presence for you all.  If you need anything.....we are here

    Dear Weygandt and Thompson families-

Jerry and I just came back from Wendee's celebration service and wanted to let you know what an impactful service it was. Wendee was so loved and touched so many people's lives. It made us aware that we want to be more intentional in our lives. While we may impact a few people, we want to leave a legacy like Wendee's. Thank you for sharing your pictures, stories, and our faithful God.

As so many have said, please let us know if there is anything you need.

    Love to all-

    Molly and Jerry Kent
