Well we are back from the surgery. I don't think any of the nurses appreciated when I asked each one of them how long they had worked for UMC and if they had ever worked for the Endoscopy Center, but tough crap! That was my kid they were messing with! (in case you are not familiar with the story, just about everyone in vegas who had an endoscopic procedure in the last 5 years was exposed to AIDS and hepatitis because they reused the scope and anethesia all day long.)

She did fine. It was even less of a big deal than I was thinking. A 5 minute procedure that somehow they mangaged to make a half day activity for us. Victoria is now the proud owner of an aerobed tummy. At least that is what the new valve looks like to me! Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
