My Story

Tyson 'Ty' Boon, 24, loving husband and father was assaulted outside of an Oak Harbor restaurant early Sunday September 9th 2012. He was transported to Whidbey General Hospital and subsequently airlifted to Harborview's Neuro ICU. Tyson remained incoherent but in stable condition with a fractured skull and bleeding on his brain for several days. Tyson is a lifelong resident of Oak Harbor and graduated from OHHS in 2006. He played varsity baseball and football for Oak Harbor HS. Tyson loves football! He plays for the Snohomish County Thunder, a semi-pro football team and coaches the Pumas for the Oak Harbor Youth Football League. Tyson enjoys the outdoors and is an avid duck hunter and fisherman. Tyson is married to his high school sweetheart BreAnna Stanek Boon and they have a one year old son.

Tyson was able to come home to Oak Harbor last week and is working hard on getting back to a normal routine. He still suffers from short term memory issues through out the day and becomes very confused in the morning and late evening hours.

**** An account in Tyson and BreAnna's name has been set up at Wells Fargo. It is THE TYSON BOON ACCOUNT. Checks should be made payable to BreAnna Boon / Erica Hoffmire. (: Thank you for all your prayers and words of encouragement. ****IF YOU DONATE ON THIS SITE IT GOES TO FUND THE WEBSITE NOT DIRECTLY TO HELP TY AND BRE
