Today Tyler had his first visit with his new neurologist Dr. Bean in Newark DE. He did see Tyler right after the transplant at dupont. He was very impressed with how well Tyler looked. He thought he was very alert. Since he is doing so well with no seizures and the shunt seems to working fine we will only have to go back every 6 months. He wants us to try to get him weaned to only 3 doses of ativan a day instead of 4. We will do a slow wean. He just told us to make sure we sick with all Tylers therapies that is the best thing to help him get stronger. We were pleased with the visit. Tyler goes back down for swimming on Tuesday. Please keep Tyler in your prayers for a good 2009!!

Love Mandy
