Sorry it has taken this long to update scan results. I just found out yesterday that the MIBG scan showed no new spots and some were even less intense than last time! Maybe it took awhile for the ICE chemo to kick in. This is definitely answered prayers. I was afraid there might have been many new areas given the fact that the tumor on the spine had increased like it did. So, in the past month, we still had progression in the spine but no other areas.
Time to regroup and come up with a good game plan. Dr. Basu said she will call Wed. morning and let us know what our next steps are. Tristin is feeling so much better than what he was 3 weeks ago! He's probably back to 90% but he's still on the steroids and nerve meds. I don't know how much of those are masking the problems though.  I'm praying the chemo and radiation has shrunk the tumor pressing on his nerves. He should be weening off the drugs this week.
It's definitely been a month of highs and lows for us. Very thankful we were able to be home for Thanksgiving and spend it with our family. I'll let you know what the doctors say tomorrow.

God Bless,
