Sorry I didn't update this site last night - I was too tired when I got back to Bev's.
Yesterday went very well. Trish got moved from ICU to a regular room and is making stellar progress :) She is eating well, meeting her goals that the nursea gave her (some of you know what that means!), and took a walk around the nurses station without much trouble last night. All very good! Mark and Tammy dropped by (from S.A.) and we had a nice visit.
She had her post op MRI yesterday and we should hear from the Dr. today how that looks. They will be looking for any signs of bleeding or other problems, in addition to checking the results of the resection. I hope all looks well. Trish might even get her turbin off today. Then we can see the doctors handiwork. He did have to shave some hair off (bangs) and he says the incision is quite long (ear to ear?). Trish doesn't want me to post any pics of her so I will honor her wishes.
Today, my Mom and daughters should be making their way to Houston to visit thanks to Angie. Thank you! It will be great to see them and for them to see Trish.
Thanks to those who mowed my yard yesterday morning! I really appreciate that.
God bless and thanks for all your prayers and support. We truly feel blessed and very loved.
