Such a wonderful post and so right on. Mundane life stresses take over most peoples lives until you have walked in different shoes. Having a sick child changes your perspective on everything but not everybody has those experiences of loss and extreme suffering. May your journey continue to enlighten families. Good luck on the scans.

Happy New Year to You All: Todd, Melinda, Morgan and Trevor. I feel so blessed that we are all friends, and it is wonderful to see Trevor growing up so tall like his Dad. I welcome the news of the upcoming MRI with the stubborn tenaciousness I've always had about Trevor becoming cancer-free---and I believe he's closer to this goal than ever! A joy to keep up with all of his activities and triumphs. Stay in touch!

I set up a FB page for Dooley.  At first, I had planned on zeroing in on childhood cancer & just using Dooley as a draw, since I thought unless someone is touched by childhood cancer, they are not going to search for that, where lots of people search for animal stuff.  However, when I ran it past one of the other moms, she said that there is a lot of cancer stuff on FB & to zero in on Dooley’s exploits, etc.  So, since it is just the beginning, there are a lot of introductory things (brothers & sisters, food, etc.), but I also am adding happy things, jokes, website & book recommendations for kids.  There is & will be cancer related stuff, but nothing too deep that may upset children.  To find Dooley’s page, when you log onto FB, do a search for “Dooley Happiness”.

Blessings,  -Cym, (Welsh spelling of “Kim”)  -Dooley’s mom
