My Story

Welcome to our CaringBridge site. It has been created to keep friends and family updated about Trent.

Trent has a birth defect called Craniosynostosis which means his bones in his head have fused early and must be separated to grow normally.

Be sure to read the latest in the journal, view the photo gallery, and drop us a line in the guestbook.

Well, today the Doctor said he is good to go!!! We should be caring for him as we would any other 5 month old. He looks amazing! There are no concerns and he will go back to see the Neurosurgeon in 3 months but that is just another formality. As far as we are concerned, it is time to put this behind us and move on. His incision has healed and his bone has begun to grow. You can feel some of the screws and plates but he has assured us that in about 4 months they will have dissolved and it will be all new bone growth! Praise the Lord! We are so blessed! Trent is such a joy! We have enjoyed sharing this experience with you and will one day have this journal and website to show him. Thank you for your prayers and know that we love you ALL! Sonny, Allison, Hayden, and Trent Matthew Taylor
AND THEY LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER!!!
