My Story

Hello My name is Travis "Lane" Brown and I am a 5 year old little boy who has Hurler's Syndrome. I had a stem cell transplant at Duke on March 29th 2006. I am doing good but I'm still on the road to recovery.

Wow, it's been such a long time since my last update. I just wanted to stop in tonight and let you all know how our little Lane is doing. Well, actually I shouldn't say "little" anymore. He's getting big. Lane is doing sooo great. His 4 yr. studies are coming up soon and we are excited to find out all the results. They are scheduled for next week, so maybe we can see all of our friends from Durham. Our little man is doing great in school, he loves it. His teacher's name is Mrs. Brock and she is wonderful with Lane. He enjoys getting up every morning and going. It's such a blessing that he is able to go. I have some new pictures in the guestbook so feel free to check them out. He is growing so much and so is Justin. We got to take them to the beach a few weeks ago for the first time. We all had a lot of fun. Well, I hope all of you are doing wonderful. I will update sooner I promise. Definently next week when Lane does his studies. Until then, much love and God Bless.
