Welcome to my CaringBridge website. We've created it to keep friends and family updated about my adventure.

In late Marchof 2009 I learned I had a 6 centimeter growth between my lungs.  After a couple weeks of testing  I was diagnosed with Neuroendocrincarcinoma.  This appears to be a rare cancer with a heck of a long name.

In January of 2010 I was told that my lungs had cleared up nicely but that a spot which is also a carcinoma has appeared on my panceus.

In the middle of May after a normal mamagram test, I was notified that the cancer with a really long name has made its way to my breasts.  These tumors remain very very small and have yet to be seen on a Pet Scan.

In October a new tumor about an inch in size was found in the arm pit of my left arm. My Dr took no action because usurally when tumors are identified in that part of your body they come in little packs. He did not want to do surgery or radiation before we could see if other tumors would arrive.

On Dec15,2010 I had another pet scan. Neither tumors on my breasts appeared in the pictures and the lump in my arm pit is still there and has grown a small amount. This all still connected to the cancer with a really long name.

An appointment is scheduled for the middle of March 2011. The second aniversary of this adventure At that time a decision will be made as to what to do if the tumor is still living in my armpit.  Really what I weird place to hang out.

With all that said, I do believe in miracles and continue to ask God to take the tumor in the armpit away. A clear scan would be a GREAT GIFT.  Please join me in this prayer.
