My Story

Thomas Grant Tuttle passed away Dec. 23rd at his daughter Julie’s home in Seaside CA.

He was born the youngest of three children Oct. 29th at Pryor, OK to Tom and Inez Tuttle.

The family of five moved to Idaho when Tom was a toddler. He received his education in Middleton, Caldwell and the University of Idaho in Moscow. While at the University he became a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. He married Rebecca Fulmer and they had two daughters, Julie Ann and Debra. Tom worked in the food industry in several capacities in Washington, New Mexico, California and Idaho. His last years of work were at Heritage Retirement Center in Boise. Tom took great pride in being an active member of B.P.O.E. He had a passion for golf, cooking, and history. His sense of humor and love of knowledge gave him an enthusiasm for life. He is survived by Becky and his two daughters, Julie Ann Sanchez (Mark and grandsons, Thomas and Matt) and Debra Tuttle; two sisters, Nel (Gary) Larsen, and Judi (Gene) Fredericksen; an uncle, Ivory Thomas; a beloved 2nd mother Juanita Long; and many special nieces, nephews and wonderful friends. Tom’s life was lived with a deep abiding faith in his heavenly Father and he died peacefully in his arms. To those who knew him well and loved him much he will be greatly missed but never forgotten. His beautiful smile, wonderful sense of humor and compassionate service to others will always be remembered. A memorial service will he held in Boise at a future time (to be announced).
