Thank You! Father for Tom Dooleys Ministry I just started listening to his broadcast in the mornings about a few months ago, and was drawn by his narration and his presentation of Gods Holy Word, his teachings are inspired by the Holy Spirit and the anointing is still present in his messages, O'death where is thou sting is what I hear, my mother also battled brain cancer, and 6mos ago my husband passed while participating in a triathlon, and God, used Mr Dooley to speak life into my painful situation it's been real hard, but I Trust God and without Him I'm Nothing! Melanie, Thank You! God, continue to use you and Toms legacy until the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 🙏🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤

I did not know that Tom had passed, I listen to the program in the mornings. One day, I was unhappy with my job because I did not get a certain position that opened up. I was putting all my stuff in a box to quit when Tom's voice came across the radio with these words " Don't be upset that you did not get that dream job! If it was God's dream job for you, you would have it. God will not give his dream job for you to someone else."  I stop what I was doing and prayed. The hurt did not go away over night but I know that God has a dream job for me. Thank you, Tom. R.I.P.
God bless

Dear Melanie,
Since the release of the iPhone app One Year Audio Bible I have been listening the blessed narratives of Tom Dooley. It is a balsam to me, even my headaches are relieved with the message spoken through his voice. I was deeply sorry and sad with the notice of his death. I would like to thank you for the precious material Tom left.

Melanie,My prayers are with you  and your children  as I am sure you still miss Tom very much. I had no idea of his passing. 15 years ago I commuted to work and would listen to him on the radio. His messages always touched my heart and brought me closer to God. During that time my husband became ill and also passed away. I sent Tom emails via the Journey email during this difficult time. I was both amazed and touched that Tom spent his time to not only read my emails but to respond to them. What a faithful servant he was to our  Lord. May his soul rest in peace and may God continue to bless your life.

It's been over a year now and I still feel the same when I read this as I did last November.  I also received Christ in Lancaster in 1977 and grew through the years listening to the Journey.  Tom, you are so missed in this current life.  I look forward to meeting you again someday.
To Melanie and family, may you have a very Merry Christmas as Christs love keeps your family together.

Hi Melanie, I was thinking of Tom this morning and how fun it would be to talk with him. I looked up his name on Google so that I might find a contact number or email. That was when I learned of Tom's passing.

Tom was one of my all-time favorite people. We had some good times together ... many fond memories.

My best to you and the family. I will always remember you and Tom.

Melanie, I just wanted to say that Livia and I still remember you and Tom so very fondly.  I still miss Tom, though I'm thankful that he no longer struggles with the things we face here on earth.  Thank you again for sharing him with us all those years, and for being the partner that allowed him to become such a beloved and inspirational man of God.  Thanks also for sharing so much about him in the memorial service.

We pray that you are well, that you are blessed in the daily walk of faith, and that you are learning to live life in his absence.  May the Lord bless you and keep you, and make His face to shine upon you, and give you peace.

Melanie,

While at church today at Irving Bible Church, Andy spoke about his good friend Tom Dooley and their conversation days before his death. I almost fell out of my chair when he said this as I somehow had not heard about his passing.

It was Andy who had told us about Tom's cancer back in March. When I heard of this news I pulled out a picture of you and Tom and I on one of the trips to Israel and put it on my refrigerator. It is still there today. I wanted to keep Tom's presence in my thoughts and prayers.

I was very privileged to have spent 10 days with you and Tom on that journey in Israel. Listening to him every morning was the best part of my day. What a huge loss and void his passing has left for so many people. I witnessed your love for each other when being around you. So I know that your life feels like it is standing still without him. My heart aches for you.

I read his life story and was surprised to hear he spent a good amount of time in Louisville, KY. I grew up there and would have been there during the same time. I also knew Floyd Sharp from my previous church at Hackberry Creek.

I hope knowing that even many months later you can feel the love that Tom has left behind to help you find strength and peace.

From a friend that you and Tom help grow in Christ.

I just heard of Tom's passing the other day but I would listen to the journey on my drive in to work.  He was such an inspiration and after reading His Story, I am a believer that God can do everything as Job said.  He made his mark and now he is being rewarded.  I wish more men had the courage to turn their lives around and surrender to God.  Our past does not dictate our future.  He is proof of that.  He is missed but I know that Heaven holds all the healing that we will ever need.  God Bless You Ton!

When we first moved back to the USA after being missionaries to Nigeria, Tom was on the radio and a blessing to us in Ft. Worth.  His message of Christ being in us helped us adjust to being back in the US struggling to see what God had for us.  He was a blessings to us, and I wondered just last week, why we hadn't heard him on radio, and what he was doing now.  We will praying for the family left behind.  Because they will need it.  Tom is healed now..........

Dear Mrs. Dooley,

I just read of your husband's passing last night after doing a "google" search on his name, to see what he's been up to lately.  I cannot tell you how shocked I was to read such news.

I cannot imagine how much your must miss your beloved husband.  I will be praying for you, dear one.

May the Lord continue to carry you though this new Journey you are on now........

Love, hugs and prayers for you,

My wife just recently told me that Tom had gone on to be with the Lord and I was very sad to hear this, although I understand the joy he's experiencing now.  Tom and his radio program has always been a great encouragement to me.  The way Tom was able to express God's grace was better than anyone I know.  Every night, I turn on Tom's recorded version of the Bible he narrates to my 5 year old daughter.  What a blessing that she gets to hear Tom read scripture to her through the night.   Thank you to Tom's family for supporting him.

Melanie, just thinking about you and our dear Tom this morning. May God continue to comfort and strengthen you and the family. Tom is still teaching us, I am listening to that wonderful voice on my podcast.

I know he is busy serving the Lord on the other side, & I, for one, look forward to the day when we will all be reunited. Amen!

Dear Melanie,
I am so sorry for your loss, I only heard of it right now. I took a trip with you both one year to Israel and it was life changing. Tom was such an encouragement to me in his ministry. I was a product of legalism and his ministry blessed me over and over. I know you must miss him  constantly but how wonderful that he is with our father Jesus. I bet Jesus was waiting at the gate with the biggest smile on his face because his "friend" tom was coming home at last. I will miss him and I look forward to our meeting in the future...even so Lord Jesus, come quickly.
