My Story

God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble.

Therefore we will not fear,
Even though the earth be removed,
And though the mountains be
carried into the midst of the sea...

The Lord of hosts is with us.   -- Psalm 46:1,2

Dear friends -
I am writing to you again for prayer.  Tom had a seizure at work last Thursday.  It was mild in comparison to the grand mal's he has experienced in the past but the ct scan they took at the hospital has shown swelling at the original site of the brain tumor.  We will be having an mri this coming Tuesday to check it out further and then meet with his oncologist.  They gave him a dexmethasone iv drip at the hospital to help reduce the swelling.  Since then Tom has not felt like himself.  He says he just feels like he has a full head.

Please pray:
for the swelling to reduce
for good sleep (dex makes you not be able to sleep)
for not getting discouraged
for no more seizures
for wisdom
for continued healing
for endurance to run the race and continue to reflect God's glory.

Thanks for listening and caring.
Love,
Sherri and Tom
