My Story

Light the Night Team Tomas 2009

Welcome to our CaringBridge site. It has been created to keep friends and family updated about Tomas.

Tomas was diagnosed (DX) with Pre-B Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL) on 6 September 2007.

He began treatment on 7 September.

Please read the journal entry from 5 November 2007 for an analogy.

It is going to be a two to three year journey from the Induction to the consolidation phase that will eventually lead to the maintenance phase.

I'm guessing that Tomas will be in patient for a few more days. right now they are saying that he will be released when he makes 250. We do have a target for what he is fighting, this is why I'm guessing a few more days.

Lenka is with him right now, I'll go back up tomorrow afternoon. She would like to spend more time with him but for the good of the family, we need her at home. Tomas will fight through this as he has for the past 25 months. The most important thing for him right now is a return to normal once he gets back home, only Lenka can make the home a home.
