My Story

In case you didn't know already, this is what Tennessee deems 'horrifying' but acceptable standards of health care for you and me.

This is part of my experience with Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. I've asked so many questions and still am today. Why did this man lay and bleed for fifteen hours ? Why did you say his condition could have been caused by the room temperature ? How did his stomach after the third surgery end up a foot away from where it was supposed to be ? It's not very comforting or caring to see a billboard of your's that reads "I will be with you every step of the way ?" This man lost his legs three months later after his third operation because he was rotting, in your ICU.
