Whew! No news is good news, right?! Well, the reason there hasn’t been any news is because Jack is doing so well that he is keeping me so busy that I haven’t been able to get on the computer. He has 1 more round of chemo left which will start next Friday. We are going to Cincinnati for a brief checkup on Thursday the 17th and then returning home the same day. He will then start 5 days of out-patient chemo. He is doing awesome – his liver numbers are looking good and his AFP is currently 4 (it was 365,000+ when he was diagnosed in January)! I’m adding a few pictures of him showing his steroid induced chipmunk cheeks. He’s gained about 10 lbs since January and it certainly shows (new pics attached). He is also growing back some hair. The way he acts, you would never know what he’s been through. He’s happy, ENERGETIC, and all-boy; and, believe me, we are very thankful. We will have to relearn some manners and calm him down a little bit soon – I’m trying to pick my battles. Continue to keep him in your thoughts and prayers and thank God that he is doing so well.
