Hi, my name is Brett. I am 8 years old and on January 16, 2008, I was diagnosed with Philadelphia Positive Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (PH+ ALL). This type of Leukemia is extremely rare and aggressive in children.
Baylee had a tough time getting on the bus this morning. Preston had to pick her up, put her on the bus and walk away with her crying. I had a bit of a tough time with my back this morning. Preston ended up taking Brett to Duke for his appointment.
As for Brett's appointment...he will continue on TPN through Thursday. We'll see how he does over the weekend and reevaluate on Monday. In the mean time I'll be stuffing whatever food I can get in him.
