You're just being concerned b/c they're your kids, pay no attention to what other ppl think. You're loving them and that's what you do:):)
I know how you feel when ppl just don't get it,-for me its neurological and kidney stuff keeping track of it and such- getting an IV when possible for dehydration. Some ppl will look at me in confusion, but that's them they don't know what's going on, they look at it like I'm to be in perfect health, I'm managing. Keep on being the mama bear, protecting her young:)
Keep smiling.

I have seen some mothers of children with cancer become over-protective of that child to an unacceptable extent: the child with cancer hits the sibling without & doesn't get punished. The sibling without retaliates, as kids (humans) tend to do, and gets severe punishment. The child with cancer becomes like the God of the house or something, no longer a child.
But I've read in previous posts about you sending BOTH your boys to time-out, etc. You ARE a good mother. Those who don't know the whole story may not be able to see that & it's okay to go all mama bear on them, especially since your little guy is still, well, a little guy. He'll always be YOUR baby, but he's only a couple years out from being A baby.
You're his mama. Your job is to love & protect him & try to help him grow up to be a happy & healthy, but also useful & productive member of society.
i may not know you outside of Internet land, but from where I sit, you do a pretty darn good job of that, with a few "human" moments of minor mistakes, because you are, in fact, human. Go figure.
Anyway, all that is a long-winded way of letting you know that as a now 26-year-old survivor of childhood cancer, I wish my mother had been more like you are for Keegan. You're doing things how you should be.
There will always be people who disagree, but you know your little man best. Screw everybody else & keep fighting. Don't buy into their crap. You've got this.

Mae, Kids that live in relatively peaceful households have a difficult time with the overly loud music.  It's not normal.  Maybe next year part of her "jewelry" should be ear plugs?  No one in a room that loud will notice them, and Kams might actually enjoy the dance if the music is toned down for her. Just a couple of thoughts.  Sending love and prayers your way. Alisha and Phil

Hi I have been following your sweet little boy/family for awhile I am glad to hear they are doing good! With kams issues on noise and clothing look into sensory processing disorder. My daughter has lots of issues with clothing and things like that plus more and they say that the sooner you discover it and get them into therapy the better, because then you can get them into physical therapy which they say helps! So check it out and talk to the pedi about it they should have some understanding or knowledge of it because it is becoming more and more common. If not find someone who does! I live in Illinois so I only know the info on doctors out here! Kathy kathyann1976@gmail.com
