I am feeling much better now.  I took Ethan to his pediatrician.  He is a retired hematologist who now does general pediatrics.  Like I have said before..I love that man. He is old school and just good.  He always makes me feel better.  He is very very thorough.  We got more labs done which all looked 100% better.  Yay!

Since the last update Ethan has lost 3 teeth.  Including his two top front teeth.  It is so cute!! I can get him to stick his tongue through the snaggles.  We laugh.  BTW Ethan being able to stick out his tongue is a new trick.  Because of the brain injury/dystonia he couldnt stick his tongue out.  He would try but just couldnt.  So we are very happy when our 6 year old sticks his tongue out.

The children are all in Mobile with family.  Today is Ethan's first day of camp.  So he is with his Dannah.  His grandmother said he was so excited to get to camp and see Dannah.  He loves Camp Smile. (not to be confused with Camp Smila-a-Mile, which we hope to do in August) The girls got to spend some time today with Uncle Emerson, which they were happy about.  Ethan has made up his own sign for Uncle Em.  Its the "M" sign and the "daddy" sign.  Ethan uses sign language.  Because of the dystonia he cant do all signs.  Alot of them we have to make up our own or just tweek them to fit his ability.  Since he does "M" + "daddy" it may be easier for him to learn "M"+"daddy"+ "brother".   We will have to work on that to make it less confusing.   

So Ethan has been about 4 months now with out melatonin.  I am so excited.  Steady improvements.  I am very proud of that boy.  I just can't wait to see what God has in store for him.  I know he will be used to do amazing things.  One day he will walk and talk and tell people about the Lord.  Ethan has seen Jesus with his own eyes.  He remembers seeing Jesus.  He talked to Jesus.  It has been 3 years and he still remembers that.    I cant wait to hear the details someday.

I have 2 weeks to myself.  That has never happened before.  So I must go be productive.  I am off to organize closets.  Yay me.
