My Story

Summer was diagnosed with AML at 21 months old. Just 5 weeks earlier, her sister, Claire, was born and we were so happy. Our world changed fast & since then Summer has spent ~250 nights in the hospital, had multiple surgeries, achieved remission twice, relapsed once, survived a bone marrow transplant, & changed from A+ to O+ blood type following transplant.
