My name is Cristina and I have been knowingly living with Breast Cancer since December 13, 2001. On this date, a surgeon spoke the following words to me, "It is a malignancy." These four words obviously changed my life.

This is where my story begins again. Please read my journal, offer supportive comments and thoughts in my guestbook.

Love and Hope to you all.

This is from Cristina's Mom

I will miss Cristina this Mother's day. I will miss her phone calls and her bright smile. Her dad and I are going to her brothers for the weekend and tosee our son and daughter in law (daughter in my eyes for she is just like my daughter.) I will get to see Michael and listen to his knowledge that was just like Cristina's they know eveything about everything. I will see Jacob the 3-yr.old and the last funny thing that he did I can still hear Cristina laughing at him and I beleive that is why we are having so much rain because she is laughing so hard the tears are making it rain. As you all may know I only drink Pepsi. I buy the little 12oz bottles to take with me to his house. Micheal calls me BEBE and Jacob calls me OLE'LAY DEE. Jacob went to the store with his parents and saw the 12oz. bottles of Pepsi he ran over there and said he wanted to buy some OLE'LAY DEE drinks. He had to have them, now when his parents ask him what her wants to drink he says OLE'LAY DEE drinks. Brooklynn who is 17 months cannot leave a store without a pair of shoes I wonder where she got that from I truly beleive that Cristina is putting her up to this love for shoes.( We know that Cristina had 100's pairs of shoes and every time she went to a store and came home she had shoes with her.

It now seems when I go to the store to buy clothes, she is there telling me yes buy that or no way that will make you look old.

Hopewell is having a Relay for Life on May 16th.

So far we have over 25 Luminaria's in her memory we will see her bright eyes and bright smile above the skys of Hopewell. Our team will wear the shirt that she design.

If anyone would like to help light up the skys may go to this web site:

I hope this works.

Go to donate a Luminaia and our team is the Harry E James Hedgehogs. It will cost $10.00

I want to say Happy Mother's day to all of her mothers that she had and took such good care for her and show their love by prayers, cards, hugs, smiles and gifts. She told me so many times that she had so many mothers in this world that help her throught her battle with cancer. Her family was glad that you where their for her for the last six years. You help her face cancer by showing her love and support. I want to thank you again
