Escrito el Jun 18, 2010 1:00pmIt is with great sadness Stevelost his battle with leukemia June 17th, at 10:08 am. Thanking all for the prayers and support. His family and friends are comforted knowing he is with his Savior Jesus.
Escrito el Jun 16, 2010 6:25pmPlease pray for Steve, he is in intensive care in the Cleveland Clinic being treated for sepsis. His bone marrow is starting to grow and he is no longer neutropenic so we're hopeful his own body with his new stem cells will fight this infection.

Steve's been in the Cleveland Clinic 4 weeks today. He's starting to make progress, white blood cells are starting to come up, and his mouth is much better, and now his throat is also feeling better. Hopefully, he'll be able to start eating soon.
The kids and I are planning to visit him this weekend. I'm thinking in a couple of weeks, if everything continues to go well, we'll be heading toward the Hope Lodge. That will be exciting!
The drive up to Cleveland is becoming routine, and I'm so glad the girls are able to accompany me to see their dad.
Steve is getting a lot of TV in, and an occasional dvd, depending on how he's feeling. He had a great view of Cleveland until they moved him to the other side of the hall, now he has a great view of the roof of the building nearby, but we're glad he's where he is getting great care.
Blessings to all,
