Lisa, thank you so much for posting an updated.  I'm sending this right out to the prayer warriors so that we can cover you during this storm.  We are patiently awaiting for it to arrive here in the Lehigh Valley - our doctors closed our office tomorrow - I am ready for Spring!  : )

Hope you can feel the love and prayers coming your way  - Love, Sylvia

Dear Lisa,

I'm glad you finally got home safely!  Yes, Chapel Hill has already gotten 6 inches of snow and now it's sleeting!

Sorry you have to cover the nursing for a number of hours, but it's understandable that Frank needed to get home.

I am glad that Steve has profited some after his surgery.

Praying that the power stays on for you!

Yours in Him,

Sharon

Thanks for the update - just glad you got home and eventually into the driveway. We will pray that the power does not go out, but otherwise, you can handle everything else. You are a SUPER woman/mom/wife/doctor and you are a true inspiration to the rest of us. Enjoy the snow in small segments - I find that that helps my own cabin/kid fever.

Hi Steve, Lisa, Sarah, Lauren & Abby,

I've been working on my computer all afternoon. I looked out at noon and saw just a spit of snow. Now, as I opened your journal I looked out the window again and I see about three inches on the ground with a LOT more coming down. Time to put on a big pot of 15 Bean Soup and enjoy my cabin time. I'll not be going anywhere soon. It's a lot different down here in NC with the winding and hilly roads than the flat country back up in IN. Y'all stay warm and I pray that all will be well with you.

Love, uncle Ross

Thanks for the update, Lisa! We have had miserable weather here in the Midwest as well. The school systems are still not sure how we are going to make up all of the days as we've exceeded the built-in snow days. Enjoy being snowed in as much as you can. We will pray that the power remains on for you and especially for Steve's vent. We love you and we still pray for Steve nightly. Happy snow! Much love, Cassandra

I remember the fun times we had when we experienced the ice storm in Hope Valley Farms.  If I remember correctly, we enjoyed candles, dominoes, food in the snow on the back porch, a vent-less gas fireplace, and the company of great friends.  Now we are here, where our high for tomorrow is near 60 and it should hit the 70s by Saturday.  No ice or snow for us.  I hope you manage to find enjoyment in the snow and ice and that your electricity stays on!  We sure do miss you guys!  We love you - Alicia, Mary Charlotte, Gracey, Wrenn, and Cade

Dear Lisa,

Thanks for the Christmas update - which I've just now read - and for all the very good news!  Praise the Lord for His healing and continued provision! May this year be an even healthier one for all of you.  I'm glad to hear of the visits from various relatives and that your parents are doing well.

Much love,

Sharon

Thanks so much for the update!  I continue to pray for all of your specific needs - they are so different for each of you, and all deserve their own moment.  I'm thrilled with the news of the insurance coverage and know what a relief it is to have that weight off your shoulders, even if only for 3 months.  You are amazing.  May God bless you for all you are doing for everyone.

HAHAHOHO! Santa and his elves! O how wonderful that Steve's foot is healing. Christmas is exhausting. What a blessing to have parents that are young at heart for these times. Too, it is a blessed wonder to watch you and Steve live out your faith, a trust that proves out God's grace to those that believe and rest in Him. Is there a better way to answer a young ones questions? Then that grace will come too. God Bless and Merry ChristmasPAXPLH
