Dear Sophie,Olivia and Kappi,

I am sending hugs to all of you at this sad, sad time. It was such a pleasure taking care of your Mom/sister and I will remember both her and your Dad forever. She was such a special woman and always had stories to share about both you girls. She was the proudest mom and her eyes lite up when she was talking about you. It was an honor knowing her and if there is a public service please let me know. Take good care of yourselves and know there are many prayers and love coming your way.

sophi, olivia, and all family,
I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing.  What an inspiration she was.  I would read those messages she would put on the caringbridge and I would say to myself, "what a woman"  She is the type of person that makes a person want to be a better one. I am so sad for you all. Both of your parents has been taken way too soon but they will always be there to make sure you are doing well. Your dad always talked about how he wanted to see you go to college and i know both of you will make your parents so proud.  May God give you strength at this difficult time. Your mom and dad are together again. Keep strong you girls and my heart hurts for you all.  Hugs, Debbie Hudson

Kappi, Sophie, and Olivia,

I am so sorry for the loss of your mom/sister.  Seeing Jodi at work was one of the bright spots of my day, and I also enjoyed seeing her around town at Target and the Monroe Fair.  I will always remember her as a smiling, upbeat lady who faced life with a great sense of humor.  It would be an honor to attend her memorial if that will be a public affair.

Sophie, Olivia,
Your mom, as you know, was one in a million! She showed us all how to walk through this life with grace and humor and fought a tough fight. You were no doubt the brightest lights in her eyes and her sorrow at leaving you must have been unimaginable....as is yours....I hope the knowledge that she and your dad are together brings you some comfort at this time of deep, deep sorrow...my thoughts are with you both....

RIP my dear, sweet friend. The Dickens quote sums up my feeling perfectly. I will miss you always. I know I was not in your circle as long as most but I was in it long enough. You were a friend, a teacher, and a "family"member. Thanks for taking that last photo with me even though you did not want to I will cherish it always. Thanks for loving my family. We will always love Soph and Olivia. Thanks for teaching me courage, strength, and smiling through it all. My days are a little dimmer but my night sky is a bit brighter. Go light up heaven and show them angels how it is done. Hug Steve for me. I love you Jodi!

You continue to teach us all what it means to love strong. I know Jodi gains strength and peace from her wonderful sister, daughters and family members who've shown her everyday love and support like no other.

We love you Sophie and Olivia and continue to carry you in our hearts and pray for Mom's comfort. She is so, so special to me.

My thoughts turn to a softball party at the Hartleys beautiful summer home near a lake, I sat on the deck next to Jodi and Steve. Jodis  look was far away. "Penney for your thoughts"  Jodi says that she wants her and Steve to retire somewhere just like this. You will soon get that wish.

Love, Sue, Rhiannon and Rick Geving
