Happy New Year!

Today I went in for my LAST Herception treatment. That marks 1 year on that medication! From some aspects I wonder where did that year go? And from the other side I'm O'so thankful it is done. A year ago we where in the middle of chemo treatment with so much uncertainty but this year our days are brighter and life is GOOD!

I go in tomorrow to have my port removed and then we will officially be DONE!! We are thanking GOD for his healing hands that were on me for the last year. We continue to pray for cancer free reports as I move into quarterly appointments for the next couple years.

As we are wrapping up with everything, we again want to say thank you for everyone that supported us during my Cancer Battle. We are rejoicing we made it to the end! Your support, love and prayers really did make a difference. I have decided that it is time to wrap up our CaringBridge site. It has been such a helpful tool for us to communicate during my illiness. But now that we are moving on it is time to close this chapter. This tool has been wonderful, not only for us to share with everyone what is going on but to receive such encouraging messages from our friends and family. Your messages did make a difference!!!

We look forward to keeping in contact with you through calls, emails and visits but as we move forward we close this chapter! Again, THANK YOU!!
