Happy Holidays everyone.

Hoping you find peace and comfort this season.  A quick note for you all, since we seem to only update for major situations.  I guess this one qualifies as a milestone.

December 17th, we are going to be celebrating Spencer's 1 year mark of his last chemo treatment!!  This will be our first, full 365 days without any issues.  As you may remember, relapse happened 17 days short of 1 year in 2010.  We are planning on celebrating at On the Border with a taco or 2!

Mimi and Pop pop were down a few weeks ago to celebrate Spencer's 8th birthday.  They also were a huge help in our Christmas decorations.  The house is extremely festive, huge tree in thee family room, garland and lights up thee banister, over the entertainment wall.  The house looks spectacular.  Thanks Mimi and Pop pop.

Even our little dog Else has gotten into the act.  She decided to pay attention to baby Jesus and eat him out of the nativity scene!  Oh boy, sweet baby Jesus is missing some serious features, like a head.

Our foundation, Southwest Children's Cancer Foundation, is so close to completion.  Just need the final tax exempt recognition from the IRS and we are off and running in 2012!  A perfect example of who we can help would be Aaron Robinson's family.  We know them as they live here in Phoenix.  Ewing's Sarcoma battle for the 2nd time.  They are traveling to either Sloan Kettering or MD Anderson for lung radiation and are asking for Airfare miles to get them there.  This is why we set our foundation up to specifically assist families with medical travel.   http://www.carepages.com/carepages/AaronRobinson

Please pray for our Dr. Steve Abela and his wife Beth.  Discovered last week that Beth has an inoperable brain tumor.  He was one of our Dr's during our first round of treatment.

Keep all the families who are battling in your prayers.  Pray that this Christmas season bring happiness and joy to them, and many more to come.

Peace and Love,

Mike
