On July 29, 2006 I was diagnosed with CML Lukemia. I went to Seattle for a cord blood transplant, which was done on April 12, 2007. Then I returned home to Southern California. I am just dealing with some aftermath from my transplant. I am also CANCER FREE! Please sign my guest book and say Hi. Thanks!

Hello everyone,

Well its time for my first update of 2009. I'll have to write more later about the events that have tooken place so far, because we are getting ready to go to the doctor's. I just have a normal appointment. There going to draw labs and the doctor has to look at my toe. Yes, Im having another toe issue! You see what has happened is that the spot were they removed the cyst ball of skin thingy is doing fine, but as my old nail grows out a new one is growing in so because that thing was there the two nails like split apart. So my old nail wants to fall off. This would be okay except that its not long enough yet. If it comes off now I'll have about 1/2 to 3/4 of fragile skin not being protected by the nail. When I discovered it the on Saturday evening we wrapped it in gauze. My mom called the doctor yesterday and she said to soak it in iodine mixed with water. So, we started that and my foot it actually soaking as I do this update. It is not like majorly falling off, the nail just bounces a little if you touch it. You can't even really see the skin underneath the toe nail. My nail just shouldn't bounce and have a rip across it. Anyway I have something really big planned for this Saturday and I'll tell what it is later because Ive got to hurry up and finish this update. If you could please pray that this toe thing does not prevent me from doing this thing on Saturday it would be great. Hopefully, Ill be able to do another update when we get home from the doctor later today.

P.S. Hopefully I'll be able to update my picture's then too.
